The future of the Redboys, St John's Rugby Club, is looking rosy thanks to support from the Rod's Redboy Fund, which was established in 2023 by Rodney Makin (1957). The fund underpins the Redboys activities and has already helped to broaden student participation, enable the team to go on a playing tour to Lisbon, and helped maintain the club’s identity.
