Head of the Cam 2025

LMBC is delighted to invite its alumni to take part in the Head of the Cam, on Saturday 26 April. We will be hosting alumni crews for the race, followed by a celebratory BBQ at the boathouse at 3pm.

As we celebrate the Bicentenary, we are committed to strengthening alumni engagement, and what better way to do so than by returning to our rowing roots? Whether you’re keen to get back on the water in scarlet kit or simply looking forward to reconnecting over a BBQ, we would love to see you there!

We hope this event will not only reunite old friends but also help build a lasting tradition of alumni involvement. Looking ahead, we aim to make gatherings like this a more regular part of the club’s calendar.

If you’re interested in taking part, please fill out the RSVP form below. You can sign up to row, attend the BBQ, or both—and if you have a preference for rowing with a specific crew (e.g., reunion groups or contemporaries), just let us know!

Tickets will be around £10 per seat to row (this is to cover the race entry fee), and around £25 for the BBQ. The Honorary Secretaries will be in touch nearer the time to confirm pricing and to provide payment details.
