Johnian Society at Sadler’s Wells – Edward Scissorhands

The Johnian Society invites you to a special evening at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, one of the world’s leading dance organisations.

Join us for Matthew Bourne’s Edward Scissorhands, the dance version of Tim Burton’s classic film. This magical production has delighted audiences worldwide since its premiere in 2005 and features the hauntingly beautiful music of Danny Elfman and Terry Davies.

The evening begins with a glass of champagne and a chance to enjoy the pre-performance buzz from a reserved space within the Mezzanine bar area. For the performance, we have a block of seats in one of the most favoured parts of the theatre with an outstanding view of the stage.

Matthew Bourne OBE is a popular British choreographer whose work is often based on classic films, musicals and well-known ballets, and which is characterised by a strong narrative and lavish productions. The stories are brought to life by his company of inspirational dancers, New Adventures, which combines ballet, modern dance and elements of musical theatre.

The Johnian Society is subsidising the tickets, and this is an exceptional deal that is unavailable to the public. Tickets cost £50, which includes a glass of champagne. You are welcome to bring a guest.

This event has now sold out.
