Johnian Society Golf Programme 2024

Programme
Match against The Aularians (St Edmund Hall, Oxford), Huntercombe GC.
This is always a very enjoyable fixture with teams of 12 playing singles stableford. Coffee and bacon rolls on arrival followed by golf and lunch.

Cambridge Inter-College Alumni golf competition, Gog-Magog GC.
Having just lost out to Fitzwilliam last year, the Johnian Society are determined to reclaim the honours for St Johns.
Team of 6 with a maximum WHI of 28 for both men and women. 5 players will play on the Old Course and 1 on the Wandlebury.
9.30am: Meet for pre-golf coffee
7.30pm: Pre-dinner drinks in the Fellow’s Garden, Fitzwilliam College
8.15pm: Dinner and prize giving in Hall, Fitzwilliam College
The cost of the golf without dinner is £60 for non-members of the Gogs and £10 for members of the Gogs (inclusive of coffee, tea, biscuits and sandwiches).
The cost of the 3-course dinner at Fitzwilliam College will be £70 (inclusive of pre-dinner drinks).
Match against Christ’s College for the Lady Margaret Beaufort Trophy, Huntercombe GC
Christ’s College are the current holders of the Lady Margaret Beaufort Trophy following a narrow victory last year.
The format will again be teams of 12, playing 36 holes of foursomes.
Costs:
£143 for non-members
£48 for members of Huntercombe
