In September this year, our team of student callers had the privilege of connecting with Johnians around the world as part of the 2026 Telethon.
Over two weeks, we spoke with 500 Johnians, sharing stories about life at College, memories of favourite Fellows and societies, and on the paths that have unfolded since graduation. Every conversation offered a reminder of the strength and breadth of the St John’s community.
We are so grateful for the generosity shown throughout the campaign. Together, alumni and friends helped raise an incredible £600,000 including matched funding, helping to support future generations of Johnians through The Dobson Free Places scheme. Every gift, regardless of size, represents an investment in the people, opportunities and experiences that make St John’s such a special place.
Beyond the fundraising, the Telethon offers an opportunity for current students to learn more about the opportunities available to them after College. We can’t thank alumni enough for the advice and experience shared during calls which is truly invaluable as students consider their own next steps.
