Johnian visit to Buscot Park
Nigel Snaith (1979), Chair of the Johnian Society, would like to invite Johnians and their families to join him on a visit to one of his favourite National Trust properties, Buscot Park, on Sunday 11th May.
Buscot Park houses the Faringdon art collection, which includes works by Rembrandt, Botticelli, Reynolds and Rubens, as well as new works by contemporary artists. There is also an extensive ‘pleasure garden’, which includes a water garden and walled garden.
Although not owned by the National Trust, entry to Buscot Park is free for National Trust members; otherwise access to the House and Grounds costs £14.
Please meet in the Tearoom at 2.15pm, or for those interested, Nigel has also suggested a picnic lunch at 1.15pm at the tables adjacent to the car park (please bring your own picnic).
If you would be interested in attending, please contact Nigel at johnian-society@joh.cam.ac.uk.
