Johnian Society Ski Weekend 2027: Alumni Adventure in the Alps
Join St John’s College alumni for a long weekend of skiing, snowboarding and camaraderie in the mountains of the Aosta Valley, Italy.
Reconnect with old friends and forge new bonds on and off the slopes. Experience a balance of adventure, relaxation and lively social events in Courmayeur, the elegant Italian town beneath the southern face of Mont Blanc and home to one of Italy’s first societies of professional mountain guides, while enjoying the region’s rich culture and gastronomy.
Non-skiers and all ability levels are welcome, with bespoke ski guiding or ski school available for anyone who wants it, making this a unique opportunity to share alpine adventure and the Johnian spirit.
There will be an additional opportunity to ski the 18kms Vallée Blanche run down the glacier into Chamonix with a mountain guide or snowshoeing at 3,400 metres on the Glacier des Flambeaux, at an additional cost.

NB: Cost includes shared airport transfers, 3 nights B&B at the Hotel Edelweiss in Courmayeur, 2-day ski pass and 3 dinners with wines/drinks (one of which is on the mountain), as well as on-site hosting.
