We regret that guests cannot be accommodated at the dinner.

Dress code

Dress code for the evening is black tie.

Accommodation

The College has a limited stock of accommodation available at a small charge to Johnians attending the Dinner, and there are a number of twin rooms for those who would like to share with their spouse or partner.

Rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Breakfast is served in the Buttery on Sunday morning from 8.00am to 10.00am.

Dinner for Johnians – matriculation years 1990 and 1991

The Master of St John’s College, Heather Hancock (1984), is delighted to invite you to a dinner for members of the College who matriculated in 1990 and 1991, which is being held on Saturday 2 September 2023.

Programme

Saturday

From 7.00pm: Dinner guests assemble on the Paddock next to the New Court Cloisters.
7.45pm: Dinner in Hall.

Upon arrival, table plans for the Dinner and room keys can be collected from the Cripps Porters’ Lodge. Parking will be available on the College Playing Fields off Queen’s Road.

This occasion is increasingly popular and it may be necessary for the College to maintain a reserve list. The earlier you can respond, the better: please reply as soon as convenient, and in any case by Monday 31 July, using the link below. An acknowledgement will be sent to you automatically once your booking has been submitted.

Please note that invitations for this event have been sent in May either by email or post. If you matriculated in one of the years above and haven’t received your invitation by the end of the month, please kindly contact the Assistant to the President (Fellows’ Dining & Events), Mrs Kirsten Canavan, by email to update your contacts.
