Alumni relations note

Michaelmas in Cambridge has been particularly vibrant, with the buzz of new and returning students in College, autumn putting on a grand display, and a full and varied calendar of Alumni Events. It’s been wonderful seeing so many of you back in College, in London, in the US and at our virtual events this term. In the year ahead we’re offering more networking and virtual events, as well as some new events like the Family Film Fiesta on Saturday 18 January. And there’s still time to register for one of our most anticipated annual events, London Christmas Drinks, on Thursday 5 December.

Spooky Stories presenters Oliver Cooney (2021), Jasper Cresdee-Hyde (2019), Mark Wells (1981), Christina Faraday (2011) and Blossom Durr (2022)

2025 will mark the 200th anniversary of the Lady Margaret Boat Club (LMBC), with many events planned to mark the occasion. Those affiliated with the LMBC should have received an email in October about the celebrations, but if you didn’t and would like to receive LMBC Bicentenary updates and invitations, please let us know at development@joh.cam.ac.uk.

We hope to see you at an event this year, and as always, we welcome your suggestions and input about how the Alumni Office can best support you.
