Winter Warmer 2025
The Master of St John’s College, Heather Hancock, is delighted to invite you to the Winter Warmer event on Saturday 6 December. We want to thank you for your donations over the last year to St John’s by inviting you to mulled wine and mince pies in the Senior Combination Room with a festive concert.
Programme
3.00pm: Festive reception of mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies
3.20pm: Seasonal musical performance from the Gents of St John’s
3.40pm: Interval with chance to mingle with fellow supporters and friends of the College
3.50pm: Second festive performance from the Gents
5.00pm: Carriages
The Gents of St John’s
Formed of the choral and organ scholars of the world-renowned Choir of St John’s College, Cambridge, the Gents of St John’s have enjoyed a busy schedule of concerts and recordings for over forty years. The Gents are noted for their versatility and range of repertoire, performing music spanning over 600 years, from the polyphony of the early renaissance all the way through to close-harmony arrangements of modern-day hits.
