Donors’ Festive Tea 2022

The Master of St John’s College, Heather Hancock, is delighted to invite you to the Donors’ Festive Tea on Saturday 3 December. It’s another opportunity for us to show you our gratitude for your generous support. We’ll enjoy winter beverages and delicious food while visiting with alumni and students, followed by an exhibition of performing arts by our extraordinarily talented students. Entertainment will include choral singing, classical music, piano solos, drama, poetry readings, spoken word and more!

Programme

2.30pm–3.45pm: Festive Afternoon Tea in Hall with mulled wine, hot chocolate, tea and coffee with a selection of sweet and savoury refreshments.

4pm–approximately 5pm: Choose one of two sessions with entertainment by St John’s students:

Combination Room (Second Court): Relax and enjoy cosy fireside performances including classical music, drama, poetry readings, spoken word and a cappella choral music. [This session is now fully booked]

Main Lecture Theatre (Old Divinity School): Enjoy a variety of performances in this beautiful theatre, including choral music, piano solos, brass instruments, drama, poetry readings and a singer/songwriter.

Registration for this event has now closed.

After the Donors’ Festive Tea, you may want to extend your stay for a 7.30pm concert in Chapel featuring the St John’s Voices choir and Cambridge Baroque Camerata performing Christmas music by French composers. More information can be found here, and tickets for the Chapel concert can be purchased here.
