Turning Ideas to Enterprises: Johnian Journeys in Sustainability Entrepreneurship
Join us for an evening of inspiration and networking as St John’s College alumni share their diverse journeys in sustainability entrepreneurship and investment. Our panel brings together leaders who have shaped the landscape of responsible business, innovation, and impact.
Speakers
Lucy Carmody (1986)
Senior Specialist at Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), Lucy will chair the panel and share her experience founding an ESG research company, offering insights into the intersection of sustainability and investment.
Lucy Carver (2001)
Co-Founder of Ochre Partners, Lucy will discuss her entrepreneurial path, upcoming trends in sustainable business, and the importance of social impact and governance.
John Hartley (2001)
CEO of Levidian, John will share his journey commercialising innovative technologies and navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship in a changing environment.
Tuomas Knowles (2004)
Fellow at St John’s College and Co-Founder of Xampla, Tuomas will speak about science-based innovation rooted in 15 years of Cambridge research, and how to scale breakthrough ideas to the commercial market.
Ian Simm (1985)
Founder & Chief Executive at Impax Asset Management, Ian will reflect on what he’s learned from founding and leading one of the world’s largest investment firms dedicated to sustainable investment.
