Making Our Way: 40 Years of Women at St John’s

Join us to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the admission of women to College, and look at how some of our Johnian alumnae have navigated their working lives, tackling challenges and exploring opportunities along the way.

We will raise a glass with old and new friends across the decades. This event is open to ALL Johnians at any stage of their life and career.

Rebecca Stäheli (1985 – Law), Claire Harbour (1983 – Modern and Medieval Languages) and Zip Jila (2002 – Law) will reflect on how their careers have developed and the challenges they have encountered.

Father and daughter, James Mackay (1968 – Economics) and Hermione Mackay (2008 –Modern Languages) will share their experience of College pre and post the admission of women.

There will be plenty of time for discussion after the talks and we look forward to hearing about a variety of career and life experiences!

The deadline to book for this event has now passed.
