Dear

On the eve of a new academic year, Vice-Master Professor Tim Whitmarsh reflects on the last few months and the preparations that have been made to welcome back the student community to St John’s.

You can read updates from the University of Cambridge on its coronavirus response pages and more details about the College’s operations here. Further on in this newsletter, we’ve highlighted how a few Johnians have been facing a variety of challenges posed by the pandemic; from producing PPE to developing a vaccine and breaking new ground in live performance.

Further updates from alumni, staff, students and Fellows can be found in The Eagle 2020. The annual is currently being printed and will be mailed next week, so expect to receive the physical copy or the digital link very soon.

With best wishes,

The Development Office
