Residents and taxpayers of the USA can make a tax-efficient gift to support St John’s through Cambridge in America (CAm).  Cambridge in America is a registered 501(C)3 organisation, which enables American donors to give tax efficiently for the benefit of the University and the colleges.

There are a variety of ways to make a gift to St John's through Cambridge in America:

  • Checks should be made payable to Cambridge in America. Please be sure to indicate the purpose of the gift on the check or in an accompanying letter or donation form.

Planned giving

  • Alumni and friends of the University of Cambridge and its colleges can support collegiate Cambridge in numerous ways. Gift of securities

  • A gift of appreciated securities is deductible at full market value, with no capital gains to the donor. Cambridge in America accepts both electronic securities transfers and stock certificates.

Gifts in kind

  • Gifts in kind include works of art, books and manuscripts, and equipment. Please contact Cambridge in America, if you are interested in giving objects which might enhance the educational experience at St John's.
