4pm        Annual Johnian Society Lecture, Main Lecture Theatre, Old Divinity School

This year, speakers will address ‘Enterprise and Entrepreneurship’. This will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.The event will be chaired by Zip Colley (2002), who recently took up her current position as General Counsel of a hedge fund which focuses on special situations.

Graham Spooner (1971) is an experienced venture capitalist and corporate financier who will give an insider’s view to enterprise and entrepreneurship.

Colin Burrows (1978) is a serial entrepreneur whose businesses include Special Treats Productions (UK), Beautiful Bay Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd, Reef Tides (Turks and Caicos Islands) and Gulf Coast Clays Inc (Florida).

Sir Alastair Norris (1969) is a High Court Judge who will address ‘What happens when it goes wrong: the rescue culture’.

Sam Cohen (2005) is the Entrepreneur in Residence at St John’s College. He’ll share his insights as Director of Scientific Investments at Malin plc and CEO and Co-Founder of Wren Therapeutics Limited.

Accommodation and parking
Accommodation is available in College between Thursday 20 - Sunday 23 September for £42 per person per night, including breakfast.

Parking will be available in the Playing Fields car park for the duration of the event.

Dress code

The dress code for the day is casual. The dinner will be black tie and equivalent.
